After a soft opening last weekend, Mill Creek Brewing’s Taproom (2008 B Johnson Industrial Blvd, Nolensville, TN 37135) will open to the public today at 4PM. Mill Creek’s beers have been available on draft and in cans for quite some time now, as they have been brewing and canning in their massive 27,000 square foot Nolensville facility. The festivities begin at 6:30, as Nolensville Mayor Jimmy Alexander pours the first pint.
On Tuesday, Mill Creek confirmed that Subculture Cafe (5737 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211) would be opening a permanent food truck inside the Taproom starting tonight. Subculture has swept the South Nashville dining scene, since they opened last year. Offering affordable hamburgers, tacos, and sandwiches that are as good as any in the city. They recently won The Nashville Scene’s Hot Chicken Week competition with their hot chicken biscuit. Subculture’s Nolensville Road location is steadily packed, so it’s nice to see that they will have much more room for more patrons at the Mill Creek facility.
If you can’t make it out on Friday, don’t worry, the party continues from noon to 9PM on Saturday.
