The good people over at East Nashville Beer Works are releasing an IPA this afternoon in honor of their late friend, Wes Taylor. Wes passed away almost a year ago and has been so deeply missed by many in the Nashville beer community. Wes was a native Nashvillian and a fixture in this town’s craft beer scene for many years. This West Coast IPA will be an outstanding tribute to a man taken too soon. Stop by for a pint or two on your way home this afternoon.
“The Man – Wes Taylor was a smart, (extremely) funny, charming, goofy, wonderful friend we lost so suddenly in March of 2016. A true beer nerd, Wes was a bright light in Middle Tennessee craft beer culture, and was beloved by so many.
The Beer – A collaboration brew with Wes’s friends that all met at the homebrewing supply shop Rebel Brewer. Adrian Thompson, Alex Boenigk, Tim Ryan, and Sean Jewett sat down over a few pints and came up with the “Wes Coast Hamatrillo.” This 7.2%ABV West Coast style IPA has a malt backbone of Golden Promise and Bonlander Munich malts. Featuring Amarillo and Citra hops, we think it’s an IPA Wes would love to drink while fishing, listening to music, or hanging out with friends.
Join us Tuesday March 21st between 6-10pm, to pay proper homage to Wes and enjoy his tribute brew. For this night we’ll have $4 pints of the Wes Coast Hamatrillo and happy hour pricing on all other ENBW beers.”
